California was one of the first states, along with Texas and New York, where Tesla added adapters to their superchargers. Soon, you can charge a Lexus at a Tesla charging station thanks to the adapters installed on Tesla chargers. Starting in 2025, all Lexus EVs will have standard NACS (North American Charging Standard) ports, which will make them compatible with the Tesla superchargers.
“If I already own a Lexus EV, how can I charge my Lexus at a Tesla charger?” According to a 2023 press release, owners of existing applicable Lexus EVs will be offered access to an adapter that enables NACS charging in 2025.
